Unseized the o/s handbrake mechanism (again) fixed the rattling rear box heatshield then took it for a nice thirty mile blast down the motorway to see my mum...sweet. :smiley:

Installed new stereo cradle so I could fit my new Brushed aluminum trim and bought some Genuine Anniversary headlights  :smiley:

Today bought a lovely bright mk3 "rolling stones edition" brought it home and my daughter bought it off me within 5mins

Went to scrap yard coz it needed a parcel shelf and ended up buying some 18"s for me mk4 turbo  so fairly busy

Gardening tomorrow lol

Took it to my Mechanic Mate Matt @ (Autohausdolby.co.uk)


and had a Bosch Starter Motor and the last set of Genuine OEM Handbrake cables from VW UK fitted...  :)

(They've now gone obsolete :'( )

fixed my boot lock, haven't been able to get in it for ages,not the biggest space for a 6'6" to work in and bend your arm under plastic cover but got it in the end and the problem was all caused by me lol,since i've had the car i've never used the key in the boot lock but i tried a while back and must have turned it slightly and just ticked over 138k
