I have been staring at mine through the window, as it stands there in the pissing rain.

Got them off the bay mate. Second hand but good as new

Shouted at it. Clutch gone. Exhaust blowing. Rad leaking. Handbrake slack. Mot due. Nuff said.

just nipped out and made mine a bit lighter

clips for 1 rubbing strip were a bit sub optimal so orderd some grommets  and ripped the other 3 rubbing strips off  pull the two bits of clip out the doors and replaced with grommits.   proper lazy way to fill the holes
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

Sorted a leaky rear cluster.  Temp fix until I can get a new rubber strip thing, it didn't have one!

Leaky light sorted proper with fitment of VW gasket part # 1J6945191

Received ignition coil loom to replace the damaged section across cylinder head (hardcore wiring project for later on in August) VW part # 1J0971658M (AUM engine)

Ordered the heat shield to protect all the hard work on the wiring loom, Audi part # 8L9121659 (not originally fitted by VW, even though Audi identified a problem on the same engines)

Changed the MAF, which didn't solve the problem, also changed the oil and filter and one of the side light bulbs.
