Replaced / re-wired loom to ignition coils, got to finish fitting boost pipework and tidy the new wiring up a bit - pics to follow! 

Spent the last 24 hours trying to dry out a wet rear light unit  :laugh:

Picked up an interior for the MK2 and fitted it, really chuffed on how good condition it is.
Also ordered some bits and pieces to get her back on the road and spoke to a mate about an MOT for end of next week.

got 2 new front tyres, got to be gentle on the driving for a while...  :lipsrsealed:

booked it in to the body shop for some much needed love and attention. will post up some pics when she's done start of next month.

Picked car up from body shop as I had a call to say it was finished early  :grin:

The guy has done an amazing job, absolutely spot on!  :laugh:

I took the wheel off, brake callipers and pads, and a bolt that holds the hub to the wishbone, then put it back together as I didn't have the right tool to seperate the two parts and also out of time. Next week, I will be changing the front CV joints.

Changed the engine/gearbox mounts on the mk4, then changed the spark plugs, rotar arm, dizzy cap, and rocker gasket on the mk2, cleaned the engine bay, refitted the bumpers and front grill and had a good look round the mk 2.
