Today (ok, yesterday) I got home and heard a worrying cracking noise coming from the left hand front strut area, so I jacked it up and wobbled things around a bit to see if I could recreate it.
No such luck, but went for a drive and it seemed to happen when reversing after going forward and vice-versa.

I took the Focus to work tonight!  :grin:
