Been doing the laborious job of swapping all the rusty ols bolts/screws for fresh, greased items under the bonnet  :cool:

ordered another lower pancake hose from the dealers just incase  :laugh: and got a quote for the next little alteration to the golf  :wink:

Machined up a repair on the metalwork lathe for my WUR and fitted it yesterday. Fingers crossed solved my hot starting issues :cool:

Got new locking wheel nuts so no one will be making off with my BBS's.

Replaced my speaker covers, steering wheel and a few interior bits and bobs.

Took out the rear wiper motor on the black 8v so my mates son can fix his. Could this be the start of a strip down on the J plate 8v? Is it the end?   :huh:
