Finally completed major alloy refurb project & fitted them today. Just in time for the MOT which she passed with no advisorys

Months of refurbing these wheels from this - kerbed beyond belief:

to this:

Never, never again. OK they only cost me £30 for the set. But the amount of times I bodged the paint....well, blood sweat and tears is all I can say  First time the masking tape ripped all the chrome off!

And on the car:

So next job is clearly to get smoked headlights / indicators to match as they now stand out like a sore thumb. Oh and wash the car to match the clean wheels

Sent back another airbox - this one arrived smashed in the post.  Parcelforce taking the strike action to heart and stamping on my parcel - although I have asked the geezer to box the replacement rather than just use bubblewrap.  Fingers crossed eh?

Whoever would of thought that taking the car back to stock would be so hard!

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
