i really must get mine roaded cuz it has been r-tech mapped but does no way feel more than 170bhp.......  its a agu 2....  :undecided:

If it feels lame then you have a problem somewhere m8.  Bring the car upto us and we will find where your GGs are hiding, then plomp you on the rr.

Nick

dam right it would be, thing is at the minute im in no fit state... (surgery!!) and i think an engine mounts had it... does go well... but id be impressed if it was pushing high figures.

does sound brilliant mate!! really ideal but its a long journey from plymouth... but i might just be mad enough one weekend to do it, i wuldnt say it feels lame as it does go nicely, just doesnt feel 180bhp... i work in a garage and drive allsorts of stuff.... maybe im just expecting too much of my little golf.....

It should very strong and smooth, you could have a small problem somewhere. Your trip to us will be well worth if we can find you some more power..

Post the car to me via the AA..

Nick

Get a boost gauge fitted to you babythen  bring it to me I will stick a wide band lambda on her and we will get that curve to exactly how you want it on the rolling road plus we will go for the 230bhp barrier. Just bring the bickes, I want to provide the best AGU ko3s maps in the UK   I just need a victims car willing customers casr to play with on the rolling road, The only AGUs I can get my hands on only have a ko3 bolted to them.
What you waiting for m8!  just make sure you have a day spare to play.

If its been serviced regularly and is in good order then it should be pushing the 204bhp is was built with. Normally aspirated cars don't normal loose power as long as they are kept up together. With the turbos there are so many sensors and pipework that power can "leak" away in a number of places.
However if you have a MAF issue with the V6 then you could be losing power through that. Get it on the rollers and find out!!

well nick said he couldn't have DERVS vs petrol as they start the rolling road at different RPM's

not sure if he got round to simulating the race anyway

hmm did rich get his car sorted

still off the road until he can afford to get it repaired
