I can see that maybe he did something wrong but I'm fed up with the changing of the results. A 10 place grid drop or even starting from the pitlane would be a better punishment and would have left the original result standing. 3rd place for this GP has changed 3 times since the flag has it not? So bloomin stupid.

This all makes a mockery of the sport, not a good start to the season.

Don't know why they just didn't switch the places back to how they were as the problem only affected Toyota and McLaren.

The main issue will be it will turn all but the most diehard fans away. These rules need to be tightened up and fast. Who'd be an F1 steward???

It's a bloody scam, the lot of it. It just makes watching the race pointless, because the results will change regardless of who passes the finish line.
Life is like a skid mark on a toilet bowl.  Sooner or later someone\\\'s going to pi$$ you off.

the original result should stand at least. But as it was under the safety car, whether hamilton was in trouble or not, he was still moving so he shouldnt of been overtaken, that is in the rule book! look at vettel who tried it with three wheels, he couldnt of been overtaken under the safety car, yet there was clearly a problem!

The penalty is because mclaren didnt mention their radio broadcasts. However if stewards are to ammend a result like they did then they need to investigate everything, including radio calls.  especialy as they are public now! So basically they have impossed a penalty on Mclaren for their own bad decision!

Dont really care as long as Button is still in first place!

The other places are only for points afterall.

I think they are on the old adage of any publicity is good publicity because they know F1 needs a huge boost!

Points are what win a title though

And F1 has had more then enough publicity. Mclaren made the wrong call, and the stewards made the wrong call. However that may be very harsh on mclaren because i carnt see them getting hardly any points this season!
