Red Bull’s wing has indeed passed every test put in front of it and the fact that the sniping continues is indicative of the fact that no one else yet managed to copy them. Until they do, Red Bull’s domination is likely to continue.

Sounds like sour grapes to me.. :undecided:

I think vettel is a great driver and champion worthy in the future, not yet now however. Seeing him driving with your own eyes is great, he opens the taps before anyone else exiting a corner.

Thats cos he has tyres made of superglue and a secret system that holds him to the ground when others can't, I heard hes actually has superman flying along pinning him to the track which is why the car looks like it has soo much rake, its just superman is so quick that noone can see him
Mk3 Golf Gti:Full Milltek system and Decat,K&N filter,mk2 Cam,-1.5 degree camber shims, borbet a's, toyo proxies, hot tuning coils, brembo vented discs, greenstuff pads...Soon to have Eaton Power

I don't think we want to see more accidents in f1. More accidents mean more chances of people getting killed and that's the last thing we need. I personally don't want to see any drivers killed just to spice up the racing.

I first started watching F1 back in 1990 for the spectacular crashes. Even in 1990 the sport had undergone a revolution in terms of safety.

1970 to 1979 12 drivers and 1 marshall were killed.

In 1980 to 1989 there were 4 deaths.

In 1990 to 1999 only 2 deaths.

This is only F1. Henry Surtees died last year in a junior formula series.

All I'm saying is that there are plenty more ways of making racing exciting and the Malaysian GP just proves that the degradation of the tyres are crucial to that. If all drivers were like Kamui Kobyashi then it would be fantastic. The way he diced with Webber and then Schumacher was mighty fun to watch.

We are not talking about people dying, we are saying allow multiple movements, allow touches and hustling for positions, don't penalise for what was a simple obvious movement which didn't put any extra pressure on Alonso that induced his crash, Alonso got it wrong...

Exactly! Alonso got it wrong so he had to change his front wing resulting in him dropping well down the grid, i think he punished himself, no FIA needed there. The penatly on Alonso and Hamilton of 20seconds added IMO is an unfair penalt. They shouldn't be allowed to demote Hamilton and just add time on to Alonso that has No influence on the championship.

It should have been left with Alonso accepting he tried a stupid move. Hamilton shouldn't have had any penalty, he didnt try to make Alonso crash into the back of him!!!

It wasn't even a stupid move by Alonso, just miscalculation. I've seen Hamilton do plenty of stupid moves over the years  :lipsrsealed:

It shouldn't have even been taken to the stewards, it was a racing incident. When you race at 150+mph within inches there's bound to be contact at some point, if there wasn't then to me it says they're not pushing hard enough. To win you need a combination of luck, skill, ability to read a situation fast and experience.

As it was discussed further back I think the FIA should drop about half of the rules it has and just allow the drivers to race. After all they came from karting, in which you do whatever you can to keep the person behind you. Sometimes it ends in tears, but when it doesn't (which is most of the time) then it gives a damn good show and proves who really is the better driver. I think there's much more skill in defending than attacking.

If that happened now, they would have both been given penalties for some stupid reason. Cars nowadays are able to withstand heavy crashes, thanks to improved car and track safety.

I remember actually watching that. I was 7. Which is why I believe Gilles Villeneuve was the most entertaining driver ever to race a Formula 1 car.

He was always and always will be my favourite driver.

Keeping schtum. Mostly.

Driver moves in 2012.

A bit early to talk about it but it seems like there might be a fair bit of driver movement after this season from what i keep reading.

I think one of the sauber drivers will replace Massa ; Perez seems the obvious choice given his ferrari backing but i think 1 year is too soon and I'd love to see kobayashi in a really good car. I suspect Massa will be a straight swap to sauber.

Webber is almost certainly off altogether and Red Bull are talking up Rosberg now. Heidfeld would probably fill his seat if he does well this year and Kubica is back for renault.

Daniel Riccardo is looking good to replace a torro rosso driver.

Despite all the rumblings i think Mclaren will remain the same.

I'm not sure what rubens will do if williams are still struggling, he still seems to love racing at any cost.

thoughts?

Not sure about Webber leaving all together mind, its definitely make or break again this season and for how the first two races have been its definitely going break but later in the season i can definitely see Webber aiming for his title shot!

Again make or break for Massa, if he wants to stay in F1 he'll have to compete with Alonso's pace, it'll be a shame if he retires into a poor team as Schumacers failed apprentice at Ferrari.

If the Sauber team pull there socks up and develop a quick car they will definitely be the title fight if they can hold onto there drivers!

Rosburg in my opinion is way over-rated!!! He's now been in F1 long enough and hasnt ever shown great tallent in overtaking or defending  :undecided: he would be an ideal replacement for Massa at Ferrari. Always a good points scorer but never a real risk taker

Mclaren seem pretty set in stone at the moment, cant see that changing for a while! Ideal team at the thou!

I still think Schumacer is going to be a race winner mich mercades soon! He hasnt been as he was but you cant forget he has 7 world championships under his belt!!!

it took schumacher from 1991 to 1994 to win a championship with Benetton.

it took schumacher from 1996 to 2000 to win a championship with ferrari.

based on past performance schumacher should win the championship around 2013

Mclaren seem keen on keeping the current line up.
