As a nitrous fan, Im also in the same boat as you with a 1.6Mk2, However ive found that the 20vT isnt the greatest option for Nitrous unless your gonna put some serious cash into the drive train, Your much better with a G60 ;)

G60s are strong motors built for ragging, 1.8Ts wernt made to take so much stress, + with a G60 you dont have turbo spool up time. A Supercharged motor is fast enaught Let alone with nitrous, Id take a All motor G60 over a Juiced 1.8T anyday ;)

Fielder: Have you not read this months Golf+ magazine?  It basically says that the 1.8 20v is the most solid engine around today and the internals are good for over 500bhp.  I agree the G60's are strong, but you cant say "1.8Ts wernt made to take so much stress".

Madsingh: Personally I'm not a fan of bad-boy bonnets, but you've done a good job of it.  It's crying out to be lower, get those coilovers sorted!!
