I've got them on my 8v GTi, went really low, hated it and now sit about 20mm lower than standard, still don't like them though, feels like the rebound is set way to hard on them, if i go over a speed bump it feels like the front wheels crash to the ground when coming off it (the short steep type, not the huge rounded ones btw), don't have a lot of confidence in them so haven't been for a hack with them on yet (had them 6 months)
Mk2 GTi.

Yeah, we have those f**ers at my office building. There like big rubber wedges in the road and if I'm going anything other than crawling speed, the car slams down off it like its been dropped 3m !

i got a set a few weeks back, dropped by about 40 mm, ride is hard but the car handles alot better esp around bends as there less body roll than when i had lowering springs, they are meant to be for performance so stiffness is a compromise and the average set for koni etc being 400 quid why complain?

Rubbish, they're stiff because they're crap! If you think £400 is alot for suspension, then I'll probably never change your mind that spending £160 isn't going to buy you anything decent. As for meant for performance... that is surely a joke?
