Thanks for the welcome guys, nice to feel wanted as I think my missus is on the verge of disowning me as a newly qualified VW geek.  I told her where to go!!

Realise my first error as my dub is actually 'Dragon' green not 'Forest'.  See told you I was a noob.

Looking forward to 1st proper drive Sunday when the car formally enters my possession and have already scouted my route.  Will also give me a chance to assess the rather creaky clutch, hopefully nothing to sinister and I've already been checking the technical pages for ideas of problem - sounds like possibly cable.  Will hopefully have some receipts & paperwork to look through as well so can see when last replaced etc.

Phew!

Will have to work on my signature and hoping for a sunny day to get some photos of the newly washed beast itself.

I'm here to learn man, so question away.  Dragon green sounds way cooler anyway.  Nice.

I wondered Dragon Green but though I'd give you the benefit of the doubt lol! :P If you need a signature to be done, get a few good photos together, send them to me and I'll put you one together, I've done literally all the regulars on this forum already (that sounds sick but you know what I mean).

Thanks for the offer Shady, might well take you up on the offer.  Mind you if you've done most of the regulars I'm expecting you to at least be a gentlemen and bring your own protection.
