Seat cleaning, not leather

My seats are a bit dirty, think its just general wear / dust / dirt but the hoover dont shift this, starting to look a bit bad so whats the best way to clean them? Without soaking them to peices and leaving them to dry for a week? lol.

Foam upholstry cleaner or a carpet cleaner.

spray extraction machine with some brisk low foam and a dash of zoflora in the tank is what you need to get these mint again :wink:

That sounds very complicated, is there anything i can do in an afternoon?

Foam cleaner, is that in a spray can or something?

pick a warm and sunny day... go to focus DIY and rent one of those carpet cleaners for the day

they really do work...

from the look of your seats it will take you not even an hour to get those back up, dont waste your money on those cans of foam,there crap and just lift the crap to the surface of the cloth and make it look worse when its dry,
what i suggested is easy and as guy stated hire yourself a machine it will spray the solution onto your seats and suck the sh!te out of your seats leaving them like new, when i do mine and customers cars numatic charles machine i add a drop or two of neat zoflora disinfectant which stops the smelly bacteria that builds up in your seats over time.

AG Interior Shampoo works really well if you use it properly.

I got some Fabia VRS (why have they got the lightest of grey seats?) interior to look like new after 3 years of kid abuse using it.

mikey, find a local garage too, get one of the throw away seat covers, if yours are a tad damp still after cleaning you can still use ya car.


I use the Upright wet n dry vax, jobs a good un  :wink:

I'm thinking of wet-vacing my seats shortly too but my front seats are heated, do I have to take any special precautions or will they be fine? Mine aren't leather either... horrible, sweaty, sticky stuff!  :evil:
