audi tt alloys 16"/17".....will these fit??

Hi guys,
got a standard gti (Mk3)...will 16" tt alloys fit straight on, no probs? even better 17"ers?

Don't know much about alloys, but I know I like these (i can't add pics, so hit link to see photo of wheels i'm talking about)....not keen on faffing around with suspension, widening arches etc...just keen to know if they'll slip straight on...(something tells me no)..

Yes however the only issue is that the offset is low at 32 so if yours is lowered then they may catch the arch.

does your response mean they will both fit (16's AND17's)?
the car just has standard factory spec suspension...

do you think the polo in the pic is on 16's or 17's? My guess would be 17"

Hi the Polo is on 17"s, yes they will fit but 16"s are easier, 17"s even on standard suspension will tend to catch the arch.

i have 16inch on 195/45 lowered bout 90 mm only rubs on back on big bumps

mines on 17 tt comps lowered 90 mills just catches the n/s rear ache when u hammer it over bumps or catch a pot hole , other than that is cool , if your worryed bout the tyre catching the rear get the aches rolled , the fronts have never rubbed it my experiance with mk3 .
