Theres an 09 reg Red edition 30, 39 miles on the clock for sale at Barnards in Stowmarket, Suffork, so there are 09 reg ones available £22995

I called them to find out more - they are EU imports and therefore come with just a 2 year warranty which expires in Mar 2010 (I think this has been discussed elsewhere on this forum).

They did confirm that they would be registered on an 09 plate though.

The 3drs are £600 less.

Depends how long you keep it, when I traded in my 2000 X plate mk4 import they said because of its age it didn't affect the trade in value.  Not sure where the cut off point would be, certainly would impact the resale in the first 3 years I reckon.  After that ? - personally I don't think I would be too bothered as long as it had been registered for recalls and a fsh.
