First year £1700 with 0NCB with Elephant. It was due for a renewal at the start of March and have changed companies and am now paying £997 with 1NCB

Mines £989 but I got a drink drive ban and points had a quote for an R32 and that was £1400

Golf SOLD. Replaced with a Yamaha Raptor 660 quad and loving it. This will be replaced in August with a Raptor 700. Sold the quad now got a Vectra GSI 2.5 V6 and its the nuts.
Brands Hatch massive.

I might look into it, although buying a mk5 is more of a mission, i would have to borrow considerably more.

why don't you keep the mk3 for a year build up a nice sum so you can get a deposit on something then get the rest on finance. You never know what's round the corner!

yeah with that in mind once i get some NCB built up wount mind looking at a mkiv R32 but by that time it would be hard to find one htat has got good milleage etc

See I'm thinknig about selling the mk4 in 18months time and when I get a full time job look at getting something newer.
