picked up my car on saturday and VW are doing the mdi interface for the rns 510 for 199 including fitting and vat.

Hurdy - did your head unit fit in nicely by default - I mean did you have to put any extra trim around it to get it to fit into the slot in the car flush?

Yes, it needed a fascia adapter. :smiley:

The fascia adapter takes roughly one minute to fit around the head unit (once you get one you'll see instantly how easy it is). Getting it back out again once in place takes a little more patience :smiley:
