See what you mean.  Now you mention it, I think the L-reg example my friend used to own was stamped with 'DOHC'.

It's a 97 R - it was first registered in July.  It really is in great condition - I think it has benefited from a service every 6k miles!Bodywork is sweet - not a scratch / stone chip on on her.  And all for ?3995.

Wasn't sure about the lack of arches/fully coded bumpers on the later models at first, but I quite like the clean lines now.....

I'm based in Exeter at the moment.

Looks very, very nice.  Congratulations!  You won't regret it. :D

A VR6 isn't a way of life, it's just a car.

Well Done sounds like a steal to me  ;D

With regards to the 'clean' look, I quite like it. It gives it a bit of a q-car look as young master saxo generally doesn't knowwhat he's up against until he sees the badge on the back  ;)

Mine has a similar history i.e lease co. first owner but as already said, this can be a benefit as anything going wrong generally gets fixed by a main dealer straight away.

I still remember the great grin factor of planting my right foot in fifth on a clear motorway for the first time and just watching the speedo climb almost all the way to the top!!!  ;)
ABS Sucks!!!

I also like the cleaner colour coded bumpers / arches look.... tempted to get mine done - mines also an R-reg, but they gave the Cabriolet's the matt black arches, etc :(
