Hard to say without any temp logs available. You'd know better than us since it's on your car, and hasn't necessarily been fitted the same as anyone else with an ebay 'cooler. Have you noticed any heat soak issues?

No not at all, she pulls like a train but i wonder why the ebay ones are so cheap, i would have thought its the build quality that has suffered and thats wha im worried about. When the gt28 is fitted i hope there wont be issues with heat soak

Been looking to replace the intercooler with the forge one now but quick question.

Seems most of the the forge one sits behind the solid part of the bumper rather than the front vent ?

How does this cool

I think the ebay ones are single core or something and the forge ones are like 4xcore or soemthing like that. (i could be smoking crack)  :lipsrsealed:

The forge one will fit with no modification to the bumper, ebay ones require some work.

If it works, save your money and get some trick bits, unless you want to spend on forge

forge have reduced the price of their front mount to £495, still expensive but apparently it is a better fit...

you could just get a different intercooler and keep your old pipe work(the ebay one)
may require abit of custom work for brackets etc, but theres no need to buy a whole new kit if you already have one
