That does seem steep, especialy as I managed to pick up about 5months ago a FSH '91 Oak Green 16v shade over 100k, box of spares, half tank, 8months MOT 9months tax, 16in BBS, HPI clear all for a princely sum of 320.00... Some places would add another 0 to that price and it probably cost me about that to replace it like for like... Sale of the century? Appreciate it was exceptional circumstances but shows bargains are out there.
Guy was emigrating and needed the car gone and I was in the right place right time.
Replaced wheel bearing, clutch (included), replaced dodgy vacum hoses to sort rough idle and transformed the car. Thermostat needs replaced to be completely perfect but swapping over to ABF power so it can wait...
