golf/vento fuel tanks

simple question :smiley:. is the tank from a mk2/3 golf the same as a vento?

MK2 no, the hole for the lifter/main pump is smaller on a MK2 tank, MK3 Golf/Vento are the same though, but IIRC diesels have a slightly different tank, maybe somethign to do with the filler neck?
