« on: 19 February 2009, 22:26 »
Brought a MK 4 1.8t over xmas for my wife VRN W681 GJO, just wondering about some of the mods that have been done, it has as far as i know revo remap, miltek exhaust, forge DV, BMC carbon air box. Also the BMC air box doesn,t have a cold air feed pipe, what is the best way to route this?

The BMC CDA looks similar to my Apiro Diavolo.
The cold air feed hose runs along the wing and down to the nearside lower bumper grill.
It should be attached with a bracket and cable ties to to the inner wing.

If you prefer cold air feed pipes, they do make universal pipes in polished aluminium.

Not sure if you can buy the BMC parts separately, but the Apiro ones are available from Ragingspeed.co.uk (haven't used them before)

They also do some aluminium quick clips, which will come in handy when having to unclip the feed hose when washing or driving through puddles!

Cheers for that, been having a look at the car, have a few bits of silicon hose and pipe work coming from work, so will see what i can get to fit, either that or may bite the bullet and buy a flexi pipe, although have been looking at the DSG and smoothed inners with sports panel filter.
