Cool. Leaving the country on work for a few weeks so will use the supra till im back, that should give me time to source one that suits...

So this explains a bit about the ECUs and where they go and why. Age revisions seems the first variance, but whats the difference between PB and PF engines?

Excellent! That should in theory mean that any PB ECU should be interchangeable? Its a DB initialed one on my non cat gti.

Pretty useful info there buddy...

I cant say for sure. It might be but i didnt find it there.

I'm not 100% sure if the plug onm the ECU is the same, even if it is id imaging the PF ecu wont work as well without a lambda?  Or do you mean plugging a PB ecu into a PF car?  If it does fit then you may see an improvement, but if it has a cat it could end up dead from the lack of lambda feedback to ze ecu...

PB will not work on a PF motor

i tried it

mine is a PF when fitted with a PB ECU there was no spark

think i still got a couple of ECU'S ere from when i was trying to fix mine if you want one :)

i'll stick the numbers up tonight or tommorrow   :wink: :wink:

Yea, that would be handy.

Mine is a non cat model with a DB, I'm not wantig to run a cat ECU, im wondering if other non-cat ECU's with different serial numbers will work...
