iirc the aum has pre lambda and a post lambda sensors fitted therefore you cant fit a de-cat pipe and like said it would need the warning light coding out whereas the agu can run a de-cat pipe as it only has the (1) pre lambda sensor fitted

oh sh!t, prob should of looked in to this a bit more, what so theres no chance what so ever of me fitin this then, its got two holes in it that look a bit like there for sensors, what happens if i did fit it and didnt hook up the sensors?

slim i would say tbh
the sensors need to be fitted on the aum engines the ecu relys on readings from the pre lambda sensor but the post one is just metering in effect what is going out of the exhaust i wouldnt advise running with neither of the sensors fitted

but  if i run it without the sensors will it just f**k up, is that what your saying, cant r-tech do anything bout that ?

basically yes have to speak to nick tbh but dont know if they could i think if you run like myself  the miltek 3"downpipe/sports cat and it throws up the warning light which they can do that can be coded out and have read somewhere about a spacing washer that can be welded onto the lambda boss basically to space the tip of the lambda sensor iirc the aum engine with a sports cat needs to run 200cpi whereas an agu can run 100cpi

Pretty sure there is a way around this. Some way of fooling the ecu to think it is recieving differant info via the post cat sensor.

He has done it and know's how to get around it.

I run a decat on my AGU and it's freed the revs up nicely. If I had an AUM I'd got for a sports cat though due to the sensors/engine warning lights

not to good with all this stuff but where do the sensors go, are they attached to the side of the down pipe or something or somewhere completly different, already got engine light on for something else, will it go into limp mode?
