I got the 5 paddle version on my 4x4 turbo which will allow fulll throttle drag starts at Pod with no wheel spin or slip at 300+bhp 380lbft.  plus my mates 500bhp Astra with LDS runs on one with no problem spinning the wheel at 120mph shifting upto 6th gear..
V good clutch imo, and for the money you cannot go wrong.
We are going to fit one to Ben Golf towards the end of the week.  It cannot cope with the gen4 remap which peaks at 23psi and holds 18psi..

Nick

gen 4 re map  mmmm whens this available nick? any other mods need carrying out or uprating?

Nick

When you have a car remapped and the clutch uprated, is there anything else to consider, ie, upgrade any other engine components to stop something going pop???

I've got some money coming my way and I can't decide; remap and upgraded clutch, or -30mm drop and wheels...?

Not as far as I'm aware the engine will cope with 190-205bhp easy. Once you've got the car remaped I'd recomend suspension work as it poor as standard.

The DM didn't fail - It's in good nick!  The clutch was foobarred, but I have seen worse, though!

Deffo worth doing, considering the higher price of the standard items which can't take as much torque as the SM/VR6 combo. ;)
