HELPPPPPPP Please......I'm new on here and being a chick need all the expert help i can get, lol.

I own a MK4 Golf GTi 2001 (150bhp) and havent used my car for a few weeks, hence why the battery went flat, doh! yea i know b4 all you guys start nagging!!!......Anyway when i went to start it, it was obviously dead and needed a jump start but since then my key fob only opens the drivers door (even after 2 or more presses).  My boot will not open for nothing!!, whether you press the key fob or the switch inside on the drivers arm rest or use the key in the lock.  I have checked the fuses and they all appear to be fine so i am at a loss!

Please can someone suggest something.

Only thing I can think of is that the battery in your fob may also be low. That's or faulty.

Did you take the battery out and give is a slow, 24 hour charge up?

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

no i havent taken it out the vehicle, i went for a good drive in it yesterday for about an hour or so but problems are still there!

The light on the fob seems bright enough/has no indication that it's low/faulty?

So i'm still stuck!!!!!!!!
