i know that people like to upgrade their brakes to the G60 ones but ive been given some mk4 calipers.....so im gonna do the rear ones no probs but what bout the front?
has anyone done this job on their golf? mines a 91 8v
i havent even seen these calipers yet so i dont know if they are obviously huge or triangle shaped? also ive got 15" bbs ra wheels so i guess id be limited to size of the disc aswell? limited to what size though?
cheers

You will need to upgrade to 16v hubs i should imagine or you are still limited to 239mm discs, tbh if you are going to go to 16v hubs you may as well stick with the standard 16v setup

up front unless you go 5 stud they arnt much use to you, best to sell em on and swap for a set o MK2/3/Corrado 280 calipers n carriers, and 4 stud 256/280 hubs. the hubs can be found on all kinds of VAG motors, Passats are a good scrappy source.

i upgraded to G60 with the bigger master cylinder and they are really good brakes
