We'll I have decided to do a re-trim at home. I am doing the door cards while the misses looks at the seats! I am looking at black with some red added in somewhere.... I have ordered several meters of black leather & some black fake leather and a bit of red alcantara.
I will update this thread as i get time and patience to do each bit!!

Lets begin.............

Here's my spare door cards. ready for some love

and first job is to strip them down....(while not loosing any bolts or screws!)

and after a good clean, I've filled any holes that don't need to be there (oh and I 've bonded some plastic to the backs to stop the filler falling out!)

and next week my fabric should arrive (including some ex mg-rover stuff which was under £10 for 5 metres) and i will get on with cutting and sticking this on!

Well I thought as It's cold i best get some more done.....

first job today was to make some speaker mounts (as my speakers are too deep and the grille wont fit in the original holes!) some mdf and filler and there nearly ready. just need to paint the rings and filler to hide them.

and they will have these fitted eventually!

and i have ordered my material....should be here soon and then the fun starts!!

well the material for the door cards has arrived and both are vinyl (leather look), and i also now have black real leather to do the seats (which is very very similar in colour and look to the vinyl)
both black material is ex mg rover stock...and looking at photos of the 75 model the trim should look fine?
I would like to half leather the seats and use anniversary or similar cloth!! I will search high and low as the seats will be getting done last!
