Just collected my wheel from the company mentioned by jv (http://www.wheelrefurbishing.com) and I'm very impressed with the results   Went with them as they were the only one to reply to my emails.

It's not the wheel in my first post but a spare that I have that had also been kerbed.  It was easier to leave this wheel as it hasn't got a tyre fitted.  I was hoping they would be able to swap the tyre from the damaged wheel onto this one but they were too busy so I will go back in a week or so once I get the tyres swapped over.

Anyway, here's a couple of pics:

Before:

After:

Cost a total of £55  Just need to find somewhere that will be able to change the tyre over without damaging it now!

Did they just repair the one wheel?

I want my Pescara (Edition 30 wheel) sorting out. Every company I go to seems to want to do all 4 wheels even though only one is scratched.

Got a quote from the wheel specialist and they wanted £84.50 for the one wheel. Seems abit OTT for me that.
sorry but my vaux looks far better than the mk5 gti, thats why i bought it  faster too

Yes, I did go there myself.  Satnav didn't take me there as per their website but down loads of little roads instead.  Their unit is well hidden and you wouldn't know it was there!

Both my 18" rears are showing signs of the dreaded white worm

Pleased to have lasted 2 1/2 years with no problem. No kerbing or damage and they are going to the dealers next week for looky and warranty consideration. Nothing less than replacement will do for me

I hope
