Hi Anouther Newbie.... with a few pic's
« on: 30 January 2009, 23:22 »
hi all,

well basically i don't actually own a golf YET! but i am looking into it  at the moment im liking the mk3's but i love the rest equally.
reason im looking at a mk3 is.... it's more within my price range if i choose to sell my car i have now. but before i decide to sell mine i wannid to find out a little bit more on golf's. so im looking forward to getting to know most of you and lerning abit off you all.

my 1st question is........

i know it's silly of me to ask on a golf forum but im hoping you will all answer truthfully  :smug: am i doing the rong thing getting rid of my saxo vtr for a mk3 golf gti? i know i know it's a saxo lol but to me it's not just a saxo it's my 1st car and was compleatly standar when i had it. i've made it my own and kept it in show room condition almost and it still run's brilliantly  but i am getting a lil board and have always loved the dub seen.

any way's pic's of my car so you can give me your honest answers to wether you think i should join you guy's or stick with what i know lol
all comments good or bad welcome. im up for a lil banter lol.

my sh!troen saxo vtr....

i apologise for the sax-p logo's on some of the pic's

welcome  there is still some decent low mileage mk2's about but unfortunatly the prices have started goin up too  :undecided: nothing wrong with the mk3 though. if the saxo was a vts id have said keep it because it would be quicker but not bad lookin even for a saxo lol

fear is temporary, regret lasts forever...

Wow, a French car that has been modded tastefully, make that exhaust half inch smaller and I don't mind it.

Sorry, for some reason, I just hate French cars. Don't know why, just do.

Saw somebody roll one today, somebody pulled out on some woman, and this guy in this Clio swerved to avoid her (wasn't going that fast) hit a bank and then her Ford and rolled it.

Felt sorry for the guy, not the car!

Anyway, welcome to the site mate! Get a tug-boat MK3, I love mine, even if it has no seats! LOL!

A vts so the web tells me is 120 bhp so only a little more than a mk3 8v whats 115bhp and 30bhp less than the mk3 16v at 150bhp
