Thing I don't get are those little silver disks on them, is that ok? I don't particularly want to put those ones on if in 2 days later I can get the VR6 ones on. Will my ones I got now be ok? Maybe need a tighten?

The one's in the first link I posted, that's almost identical to the ones I have, so I'll assume they are the bearings lol! If I were to have those ones put on, which way does the plate go? Face up or down?

them discs are different to mk3 parts..... bin them and use your mk3 one's (as long as the bearing isn't integral!) it could be worth using mk3 vents for simplicity

I'm a bit buggered really. I'll have shoot around Yeovil tomorrow and see if I can find anywhere selling top mounts, with any luck..I'll get some, then it's jacking the b!tch up and taking off the suspension :(

No some standard Mk3 ones, GTI ones I believe.

GSF will sort you out, find your local one and pick em up, about 20 with vat iirc. U need vr6 ones as they can take the beating a lowered car will give much better than gti ones. Stay away from generic gti/gl/16v/vr6 ads on ebay. they all fit each other but any thing other than vr6 ones on a vr6 die quickly due to the weight of the engine. plus the quality of the ebay ones is v poor, unless are stated vag ones.
I wouldn't use the mk2 ones, its not worth the hassle.

Shady, order the ones in the link I posted, then wait for them to arrive not going to hurt for a day or 2.

Mk2 ones will not fit.
