Hey guys,

I've sold the GTI so if anyone is in High Wycombe keep your eyes out for a sexy black GTI.

Easily the best car I ever had - will get another one if I find one as good!!


OK, thought I would ask here first (hurdy!)

Dad's got a Touran - Gearbox is faulty - won't go into gear or shift...

Any known issues with the DSG box?

Ouch!

Doesn't sound good.

Obviously, I've not personally had this issue, but here is a link to the thread that may give you an inkling into what may have gone wrong.

k, spoke to dad...

he had the mechatronic replaced by alan day in 2008

apparently it's having problems getting into third gear, if he drives it with minimal throttle it'll drive fine and once it's in 4/5/6 it runs like a normal car..

just shifting to third?

Its got to be a Cayman S?

Drove one of them around Thurxton and its a proper fun car, and despite what people say about it being a poor mans 911, totally disagree, its a lovely motor imo.
