whats that sray on wax like got my self a bottle the other day was gonna use it this weekend but its been raining.

It's good stuff, hard work especially when its cold, but does leave a nice finish. I'd say use sparingly and try to avoid getting it on any black trims as it's a pain to get off again! :afro:

Cheers dude! :afro:

Just an update on the ICE products, spent the weekend fixing my mates little brothers Corsa after he had a shunt, had to rebuild the front & also the rear bumper & slam panel too!

Went from a shabby looking X-reg into a not so bad little motor, albeit still a Corsa!

After we'd finished playing mechanic, it was washed twice with ICE liquid wash, clayed & rinsed, Meguiars Scratch-X, then ICE polished & Meguiars NXT Gen Wax to finish. Wheels were done with ICE alloy cleaner.

Arch's & trim was done with boot polish & tyres with Meguiars gel as before.

nice save

now the but

that ICE stuff is pretty poor stuff... was, fine, wheel cleaner, maybe but the "polish" is nothing of the sort its a polymer based sealant/wax, that to be fair shines, but washes straight off. The NXT is not the worst but its going to be washed straight off if you are putting it on top of the ICE polish.

If you are intent on sticking with Turtle, get a tub of solid wax next tiem you are in the motorfactors, green platic tub looks like a shoe polish tub.... wax on/wax off as tehy say and use the ICE or NXT to top up the shine. It'll stay beading and repelling dirt for longer and make the washing easier

Yea, I figured the ICE stuff wasn't exactly hardy - it's like water out the bottle!

But the shine lasts well, still was beading a week later & looks clean, unlike my Golf which was dirty the same evening, but I do more miles than him!  :lipsrsealed:

I think as an intermittent wash between a monthly clean it's a great product, but as you said, needs 'proper' products used around it. :afro:

spot on!!

the ICe "wax/polish" is useful in thw summer as a quick shine, a bit like Megs gold class
