K03S on AGU without remap?
« on: 22 January 2009, 11:06 »
Hello guys, I have 2000 AGU chiptuned with 2.5 inch downpipe and Denso IK22s. I have an offer for K03S for around 150 pounds but custom mapping is too expensive here in Bulgaria. Is it worth and are there any gains if I use my current tuned software for the K03?

You will only notice a slight difference without getting it remapped mate

It will run (not very smoothly) but it will run.  Maybe post your ECU to R-Tech for ~£250 IIRC or so (offer until the end of January), & he'll put a map on it & send it back??  :)

Is it possible for them to do a map without having the car, and just send it to me?

They will need the ECU, doesn't have to be attached to the car.. you can post it to them!

yes it is - they can 'bench flash' the ECU with a new map (need to send the ECU to them!)

Ivor (who posted above) has a KO3S and R-Tech map on his AGU and it FLIES!!!!!!
