I would never sully myself with the VTR, some sort of *lesser* model, If you can only get a VTR one might as well just got for a bottom of the range 1.0/1.1 model  :grin:

Haha yeah mine was a mk3 aswell 1.4i went ok really was really good on petrol - 200 pounds just to tie me over   :wink:

Mines was a 1.4i as well, but an automatic!!  Cost me £250, with about 40k on the clock!  :shocked:

I had a 2000 focus 1600, was a nice car but just didnt have the power the golf has....
