Yeah man, he explained that on the phone. I dunno if this is a silly question, BUT i have a few scratches and things, would a respray go over them? I also have some like air bubbles on the bonet where it was sprayed before and not sealed properly? would they be gone also?

Some defects can be removed using a decent machine polisher. But the air bubbles would prob be a respray.

Well he scratches are in unspicious areas so im not fussed about them as unless your 2inches away from them you can't see em! It's just the bubbles i was concerned about, but i know a respray will get rid of them. It's just finding the money to do it

the bubbles are normally down to bad prep work.
as for sanding it down yourself, good money saving tip but some bodyshops wont touch it i would be a bit weary painting it, if there was any defects after paint it could be down to numerous things.
if prepped and painted in the bodyshop you can take it back if any defects came through.
you can get the 200 quid self prep jobs but IMO stay clear from them, for a decent job the materials would cost that!
