Leon Cupra 1.8t vs GTi 1.8t (AUM)

im torn between the two!! basically, id be doing the following to either one of the above-

3'' down pipe, decat, exhaust system
cold air induction
3 bar FPR
forge TIP
forge 007p DV
lowered 30-40mm
REVO stage 2

to push out 240ish bhp

i was just wondering had anyone owned both? what are the differences in handling, acceleration, comfort, upkeep etc??

any comments welcome lads

To be honest, they are pretty much the same car underneath.

What do you prefer?


Personally, I prefer the looks of the Golf, the back of the Seat doesn't do it for me.

exactly my stance on the issue, dont really like the back of the leon..

best thing to do is to test drive them both and see what you'd rather live with

the Golf has the best interior no doubt but the Leon has the edge handling wise as its a more sporty setup

wife has a leon and i have a golf i love the look of the leon specially a cupra dont see as many leons as golfs around my way
