plowy, just read that thread, they are dangerous, you could blind someone and they ARE illegal.

I know there is issues with self leveling and wash wipe to do with legality but if they are aligned properly i understand there is no issues.

Theres always someone from the 'HID Police' when threads like this start. My opinion is they are ok fitted to DE (projector)type headlights where the beam is more controlled and direct, but I wouldn't fit them if the headlight is the normal reflector type like the mk 5 is fitted with.
