Anybody fitted headrest screens to mk2?
« on: 14 June 2004, 12:22 »
Just wondering if anybody had any guide on fitting headrest screens to a mk2 golf gti?

I thought I'd best check with you guys/gals before proceeding to cut up my headrests only to find that there's nothing inside them to mount the screens to.

Thanks in advance

Ian

there's probably a universal guide somewhere on the net.
headrests are headrests aren't they?

I could of sworn mine unzipped? Maybe not? I'm 90% theres a zip on the bottom?!!

If you are fearful, pay a visit to your friendly scrapyard, and hack one apart while your there?

Don't worry I'm careful enough when it comes to my car.  Currently I have a wheel clamp, full disklok steering wheel clamp, de-locked boot, de-pinned doors, disconnected passenger handle and a mid-range alarm/immobiliser but before I get the screens in the alarm is being upgraded and connected to the central locking so that doors can be de-locked totally and security film fitted to the glass.

Besides that I'm quite known around my area and being 6'1" skin head with no neck is generally enough of a deterrent.

Thanks for your concern though mate.
