Not necessarily. Mine is an 89 with the red line grille and small bumpers. I didn' think they came out with the 16v until 87?

Oh and how an engine works - i'll draw you a diagram  - with numbered areas so you can colour it in.

What do you want to prove?

Do you think the ability to change a cam tensioner or change your rings makes you a better Golf enthusiast than I - then you must admit that that kind of elitist bolix is best left in the school playground.

A man with pride? i think your one to talk. Mr. Slimey Shadys gotta get the last word, i think not. I just love ripping it out of you, as you talk a good show but can't run one.  As for the airbox and cams, learn the basics of engines mate, its not that hard.
