5 doors are always cheaper - I could have had a J plate on 90k for 1300

but I wanted three door - better shape


cost me a pinch over a ton for my str8 3 dr

it has to be std & mint looking, but little tweaks here & there to make it go that bit better round corners etc.

also, although 5doors aint as nice as 3doors, they are a better shell as they are more rigid, hence why VAG used them in the G60 Limited's

nothin wrong with 5 doors if you have a family,also whats all this bollocks about small bumpers being crap :-\

personally i have owned both big and small bumper models and although the big bumper looks more up to date,almost every gti you see has them its rare you see a small bumper model and i much prefer the retro look anyway :)
