Yes and No

If there are any speed signs e.g 30 or 50 you have to obey.

Unlike here where we see the National Speed Limit signs (white background with the black stripe) on the Isle of Man there is no limit.

I worked there for 7 months last year and I hired a S60 2.4 20v Volvo and got 120mph on a normal single carriage way.  ;D

My mk1 has 106,000 on the clock but I haven't driven it in 6 months due to my turbo conversion. mk2 has 150,000 but I haven't driven it once, only bought it last sunday.mk3 golf has 130,000 and I haven't driven that for about 6 months eather.mk4 has 2000 and I drove that just before Christmas(its the wife?s car) and my 405 MI16 has 58,000 on the clock, I do about 350 miles a week in this one.

You have a Mk1, Mk2, Mk3 and Mk4 (we'll forget about the pug)!!!
Lucky swine.

I have a Mk2 16v (still off the road :( ) which has 160k on it, but I've not put any on it. My Mk3 16v has 116k, and I do about 7-10miles weekdays, drive cross town to work (far too slow to be fuel efficient) and about 20-30miles at weekends.

i do arond 50 a day in my mk2 86 gti 8v, 160k same engine, oil change evry 6k and never gone wrong, not even a head gaskett( used to be my anualy-retentive dads car) Gear box blow up at 155k, only ever had the clutch done once, so that was some old tranie oil in there. Got a nice re-con 16 box with 16v clutch now!
