VR^man, you shat yourself in the pug doing 60 because you have never experienced those speeds before. I am also interested to hear your comments why the vr6 produces such miserable power for such a large engine. In 1982, even ford produced 160 bhp from a 2.8. Bmw 2.5 from 1985 produced 170 from just 2.5. Just admit it, although comfortable, your car is sh!te!!

What you talking about 8pot, my car does 180bhp, thats hardly sh!te mate. 0-60 in 7 secs is not bad for a car for 5k. Vr6 is very easy to tune, 2k for a turbo or supercharger kit. Of course my car will not do 60, top speed 25 mate  :-*

It was 5grand, must be nearly brand new then. Also 180 bhp must be tuned . What have you done to it?

Most vr6s produce well over the 174bhp originally stated by VW, mine has got a K&N induction kit on it. Its not super fast, but its not bad  ;)

Which rolling road has it been on? Surely a man with your mechanical and technical knowledge would not believe the hype on the wrapper that says it gives an extra 6 bhp do you?

Induction kit will give about 5%, which isn't a lot, do your maths mate!

Yes you obviously read the box. Why dont you try that mod whereby you wrap 2 magnets around the fuel line. I've heard that gives good results.

Yeah alright mate, if you read vw magazine regularly (which you probably don't) then you would know that the vr6s are understated as several standard ones that were put on the rolling road were actually producing 190bhp with no mods. An extra 5-6bhp is easily achievable on a 174bhp engine using a free flow induction kit.
