if oyu've got a gti shell and body then oyu might as well keep it. I went against a couple of g60s at Pod which were conversions, they were sweet looking motors and will still hold value provided gthey're not dogs to start with!
If you do go down the original route, ignore what Marcus is saying about that blue one at supergolfs, I've seen it and it's a bit of a dog. no where near the condition of your motor. Same goes for the green rallye he's got on there....

and telling him what you want to do. See if he can source an engine for you, they could definately do the transplant and would be cheaper than a lot of places like *cough designa dubs*. And to be honest they know their superchargers better than most people
