erm, i was comparing my engine to ed's 8v yesterday and hes got a bigger radiator than me ??? >:(

if you look at the engine straight on, where the rad bolts on on the right there are 3 slots where the rad mount can be put. mine is bolted on the small bracket, eds on the middle one, therefore a bit longer

erm what sized rad iam i supposed to have cos surely it would be the same size as tyhe 8v one

The rad on mine uses the furthest mounts available on the front panel. Its a monster.

I got aircon on mine so it has the extra gubbins for that.

I wouldnt like it to start leaking , I've heard its well expensive.

Check this nutter out.

You can also see the ram air pipe in the pic to to airbox lol. ;)




As for yours, I would guess the later cars with the big bumpers might have had a larger rad fitted.

As long as your not getting any problems with over heating then I would leave it as it is.

yeah he is thats the thing, not loads just gets well hot in traffic. that radiator is almost as big as the one on my living room wall!  ;D
