Hello boys and girls. Im Vicky, 26 (is this old?).
Im a student at Sussex Uni and I deliver and run mobile casinos for money.

 I did the beetle scene a bit in my teens but have always had a soft spot for the mark 1 Golf.
 I have restored 3 cars 1 beetle, 1 camper and ive nearly finished a soft top morris minor. I just like vehicles with a bit of character im not totally sad (or am I. Let me no!). :'(

Im on my second Golf now. Shes in a right state, but apparently won some awards in the 90s. Yellow 1.8 cab/klipper  1983. Will get a pic soon and you will all feel really sorry for her. she must have been loved once!
Anyway ive been hassling Wolfie daily for all his knowledge and hes been great. So thanks Wolfie.

keep at it and take some chances with your mods. they might pay off!

A lot of us use MSN to take about technical problems. There's a thread somewhere with some of our addresses on it.

I think there is a meet in Patcham monthly. I know there is a camper meet in crawley monthly. im sure the golfs are around somewhere. ill keep my eyes open

Nice to see another cab owner in the ranks - if its electrical problems on your cab, I may be able to help, I've had the wiring and dash out on mine, more times than I care to remember, and I used to be an electronics engineer for 11 years!
Be nice to see a photo of it put up in the gallery too, whatever state it's in
