Digifiz Clocks
« on: 29 November 2003, 10:38 »
Hello,
does anyone have the digi fiz dash installed in their car? I have come upon one in excellent condiion and the price is really right. Is it worth it? I haven't seen them much. kinda rare here. Is the wiring the same as thw standard clocks or different? what about senders and what not? Thanks in advance.

are they the clocks that look like the nighrider car?

I think they require some extra wiring but the clocks should have all that with them. ???

Those are the ones. I have my eyes on a set that are priced right. I may just buy them and go from there.

I saw that! I thought they were in your ride until I noticed it was a LHD dash. Think I better go for them.

they normally go for around 300 quid.

And I should assume they wire str8 into a Valve as they were available as an option in the UK (as well as the rest of Europe).

Let us know how you get on - as I've found a couple of Digifiz's in Germany which sound cheapish

its not jsut a case of take out your old clocks and pop in the digifiz, there is a lot of extra wiring you need, including the sender on the gearbox

plus you need new mounting brackets for the clocks, which 9 times outta 10 arent included as teh seller doesnt know any different and they are left in the car it came out off
