you need to tighten it past hand tight whilst spinning the disc/drum at first to settle the bearing then back off and set hand tight.  By past hand tight, I dont mean lean on it with a breaker bar, just enough for the nut to become tight.  If you want an exact figure its given in the bentley:

excellent, as i did when i put the last set of disks on  :smiley:
