Steering wheel nut

hi there i need to find out wot size the steering wheel nut is as i need to remove it to fit new ignition can any one help ?
<br />theres only one way to roll and thats in a vdub

Its a big mama! Around 22mm I think.

Just checked mine and its definitely 24mm (1991 16v, but I think they are all the same).

yes i do but i didnt have a socket to fit so need to no wot size to buy
