I'm sure you can buy FK's to fit your mk2 from anywhere for £350 mate :smiley:

aye FK highsports maybe but not konigsports.

i had highsports off a mk3 vr6, they were ok really but never had them long enough to test them thoroughly.

FK are far,far superior to Hot tuning etc.

They are designed for motorsport and for that reason along they excel the others.

they ain't desinged for motorsport.  the koingsports are ok  but the likes of KW v2 and v3 are the start of the motorsport stuff
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

Interesting but new to the market I guess. If you can stretch to £500 I would go for Weitec.
Very please with mine.

Stainless threads, Height easily adjusted. Mine been on over a year, no seizing.
Good damping adjustment too.

You'll put 'em on, adjust them to the height you want, then you'll leave 'em for 6 months or more and they'll seize solid.  Just fit some appropriate quality struts, with some -40mm lowering springs and be done with it.  They're much less likely to go wrong and won't die in a year or so.

Aint that the truth! Well, except the siezy bit - as long as when you fit them you apply ludicrous amounts of copper slip/chain wax they tend to still be pretty adjustable months down the line. The thing is, why would you keep changing your ride height - its just going to do peculiar things to your camber/tracking.

I read about the coilies seizing up esp in the sh**tty weather so greased the fk konigsports and am wearing these "socks":

I guess the ride height adjust is useful if you change wheels often (diff profiles etc) and is quite handy for changing the stance etc
More for cosmetic reasons i suppose! (Until you break the front splitter)  :grin:

i found eibach to be too soft as progressively wound.matched with boge turbo shocks
